My WordPress templates got hacked earlier on this year. Luckily I had a backup. What I’ve done now is password protect the admin directory. It seems to have done the trick.

My site was getting the warning in a number of places, not just Firefox 3 – I just noticed it first when trying out the new Firefox 3 Beta. I think that it’s a good idea in general, but they need to notify site owners and make it easier to remove the warning once the site is fixed.

According to the website, Google displays those warnings based on their own testing so I assume the actual problem was just with Firefox? A bit annoying to have to check your site in one particular browser frequently just to make sure you haven’t been listed as ‘badware’ (pathetic term) on a site that doesn’t appear to verify such claims.
